Same, Same but Different
As I created these new works, I was keenly aware that every mark I made, whether it relied on my Eastern or Western heritage, was made by one hand--my hand--and that the finished product would live and breathe as part of a world in which we all are tenants and that we all share.
All along that grey-draped zig-zag shoreline, we, as Artists, sit or stand in resolute silence. We 'universal communicators' are documenting, creating, and possibly repeating chapters of human history. Where do your dreams lie? Let's 'Float' together in ease and love. These pieces are nowhere and everywhere--image form and energy incorporate conflict, balance, and harmony to shape the work's influences, thoughts, and hope.
